Amie brings 16 years of industry expertise, dedicating most of her career to working behind the chair. She has refined her skills through advanced education, including an in-person color class in Minneapolis with Ian Michael Black, Aveda's Global Artistic Director of Hair Color. Amie is deeply passionate about creating outstanding experiences for her guests and has cultivated extensive knowledge from leading brands such as Aveda, Redken, Philocaly, and her newest love, Eufora. In 2018, Amie embarked on an exciting journey to further her education and career. While running her own salon in her home, she pursued a degree in Education and earned a specialized teaching qualification in Cosmetology. Certified in Secondary Technical Vocational Education (C.S.T.V.E.), Amie has spent the past four years perfecting her teaching skills. Driven by her passion for inspiring the next generation, Amie has founded multiple Cosmetology clubs throughout Saskatoon, giving students the chance to discover and develop a love for hairstyling and esthetics. She also spearheaded the creation of a Cosmetology 10/20/30 program at a Saskatoon high school and achieved her dream of teaching in the city's only fully equipped high school Cosmetology classroom. Amie has discovered a new passion as a salon owner. She recently traveled to the Eufora Academy in San Diego, CA, where she expanded her expertise in the brand and the art of salon ownership. Dedicated to ongoing growth, Amie is committed to being an inspiring leader for her stylists and an exceptional stylist behind the chair for her guests. As Saskatoon's only Eufora salon owner, Amie takes pride in bringing a touch of California charm to the city and looks forward to welcoming you into her salon to experience it firsthand.
